Inspections of commercial property are aimed at providing quality information about its integrity for a potential buyer or investors. Commercial property is a significant investment which is why we do a comprehensive inspection of all aspects of the property. We can do this for either buyers who are interested in the property, or sellers who want to understand their property better and prepare it for sale. These inspections are often also required by insurance companies who need to know all the details about the property to ensure you have the proper coverage. Here are some of the baseline elements in our Commercial Business Inspections:
Site Details
This includes driveways and parking lots or structures, landscaping, and utilities coming in and out of the commercial property.
Structural Details
This includes any framing and building envelopes, exterior walls and framed windows and doors, entry points and truck bays, roof and venting, as well as eaves and awnings.
Mechanical Features
This will include electrical systems, air handling units, lighting, heating systems, and electronic venting.
Water Systems
This will include things like the plumbing, water heaters, wastewater, kitchens, and restrooms.
Interior Features
These features include walls and drywall, ceiling condition, hallways, the condition of floors, doors and thresholds, windows and other similar features.
This is not an exhaustive summary of our inspection services but will give you an idea of the elements that we evaluate during our Commercial Inspections. The details will be placed in a report that can be used for legal documentation, property sales, and investment records.
